I cannot get over how remote we were today. There was nothing out there. No people. No boats. Not much land either. Just us, snorkeling out at sea, in the rain and fog, the water a soft, glowing turquoise that felt dreamlike. Atmospheric, beautiful, but eerie, especially because I could not stop thinking about sharks.
